As the name implies, this fly is fished subsurface for trout. An easy fly to tie and if you are a beginner, you can borrow vice tools and thread from the club. You can use either black or olive 8/0 thread. Have available a dubbing hook or a bobby pin or something similar. Sign up by calling me at (831)688-1561. Allow enough time for a packet of materials to be assembled and put by front door for you to pick up. This summer, while I’m on vacation, there will be 3 great tyers conducting the classes.
